DWS: Pentateuchal Studies (15 Aug 2011)
To the students of Pentateuch at DWS,
Monday's lecture will be focused on Gen 3. Similar to the CTS students, it would be helpful for our class discussion to review previous philosophical and/or theological course you had concerning the Problem of Evil. Those with internet access may look up wikipedia's entry which surprisingly provides a good summary of the status questionis.
The remaining time will be dedicated to a brief presentation of Gen 4-11 as conclusion to Gen 1-3 and as an introduction to the book of Exodus.

CTS Pentateuch: 13 August 2011
To the CTS Students on the Pentateuch,
As per Ms. Kasilag's instructions, the 1st part of our lecture this Saturday will probably be taken by Fr. Dennis, while the 2nd part will involve the showing of a documentary film regarding the book of Exodus. As a preparation for the film, please read the beginning chapters of Exodus paying particular attention to the Egyptian plagues (Exodus 7-14). Each student will then write a reaction paper, 2-3 pages long, to be submitted on 20 Aug 2011 either as hard copy or as an ecopy sent to my email (profrustam@gmail.com) or copied to my laptop via portable media.
Any clarification, please send me a message through email or facebook. Or you can channel your questions to Bing or Marian.

The deadline for the submission of the chapter summary of the Book of Leviticus is extended until 15 Aug 2011.
Good luck!
